The Second Session of the .GE CCTLD Advisory Council was Held

On September 21, 2023, the second session of the .GE ccTLD Advisory Council was held, where the .GE ccTLD Registry presented the following issues to be discussed:

• Server infrastructure update;
• Publicity of statistical data;
• Presentation of the domain name suggestion system;
• Implementation of .gov.ge to the EPP protocol;
• Service with National Agency of Public Registry 
• Registrar selection criteria;
• Content spread on the Internet in violation of copyright and the existing practice of such web sites suspension.

The .GE ccTLD advisory council is an “Advisory Council” created through the memorandum signed by the “ISOC Georgia” and “Caucasus Online”, where equally are presented registrars, internet, web hosting and other telecommunication services providers, governmental bodies, public organizations, customer rights defenders.
